BSI Sparks Cable

Recently I was introduced with a new plug cable. Previously, I used Bosch Super Sport Plug cable, like this one.

Performance wise..? Hmm… Meh~ so – so, beats off using the standard ones of course. Then, a month or so, BSI Sparks approached and offered to sponsor me their plug cable. Only then I knew Karamjit Singh, Faidzal Alang and other professional drivers are using their plug cable. Suddenly I felt so awesome. LOL!

Anyway, here I would like to share with you how good are their product. IT IS AWESOME. It’s awesome like how Emmet from The Lego Movie sang that ‘Everything is awesome’ song. Yeah, it’s that awesome. LOL.

Articulately BSI Spark plug cable doesn’t only give out good ignition spark, it also improve fuel economy with approximately 10% - 20% fuel saving. I reckon it’s due to better energy output to your engine. Please excuse my explanation in trying to give my upmost review based on my experience using this plug cable; it may sound so girly – because I am not so good at explaining things. Furthermore, it enhances engine performance by improving power which leads to good response.

Well, those were the stuff is based on my experiences by using BSI. Though, these are some other things that I left out. Its usage is eco friendly as it contributes to less carbon monoxide and  it gives out efficient burning as high tension ignition cable is used to conduct high voltage from the ignition coil/distributor to the spark plugs. Moreover, it gives out easy engine starts – this proved by a friend of mine who is using a twin weber. I tell ya, using a single weber is hard to get the car start (because I used to use one). Try a twin one, madness! Plus, a smooth idling too. Best part is that, THIS IS ACTUALLY A MALAYSIAN PRODUCT!

Here is a comparison video of Spoon cable and BSI Spark.

AMG WHEELS

Hey guys! So... Last week I had my first photo shoot session with AMG Wheels. The weather was awesome but the heat was quite terrible. Yet we manage to take lotsa awesome shot of the car, the rims and I. The photo shoot basically is a debut for their new own production rims, a Malaysian own brand called "AD".

AMG Auto Supply Sdn. Bhd is actually one of the veterans in Malaysia wheels industry founded by Andy Liew (The Boss) more than 20 years ago. His unique knowledge and vast experience in the wheel industry is second to none and has one of the widest coverage of heels re-sellers in Malaysia. The company itself carries a total of 11 brands and each brand carries a different range of taste from simple classic elegant to sporty aggressive designs.

I, on the other hand was appointed as their brand ambassador this 2014 to help enhance their marketing strategy as well as giving more exposure towards wider market. Personally for me, to be considered as a supporter of Malaysia brand products, I am very pleased to be appointed as their spokeswomen.

And for your information, aside from KL, AD rims are also available in Indonesia and Brunei!

Here's a sneak peek of their new upcoming designs...
for more, got ahead and click on the 'sponsor link' of AMG WHEELS for their facebook page or check out their website at http://www.amgwheels.my/

p/s : will share photos of me, the rims and the cars soon. Be sure to stay tuned! Cheers!!!

Saturday Night Fever Racing Challenge Series Round 1

Introducing my younger brother Farez Kusairi, still newbie yet a potential driver. This year he will be starting off driving this Satria Neo from TKSB Maxboost race car - street category in SNFR 2014. Other than that, Farez will also be joining other grass root events and races with his own race car, a Proton Satria GSR 1.8L Turbo. As for now, he is the overall champion for Malaysia Superlap Battle Championship Series 2013 in Street Car - Open category. Hopefully, he can still carry that title again this year as we are going to join and support the event again this year.

Saturday Night Fever Racing Challenge Series 2014 or more likely to be known as SNFR round 1 were his first race this year and it was his first time experiencing racing in Sepang International Circuit, also his first dog fight race and of course, the races are all held at night.

Approximately a month or two, TKSB Maxboost boss and car owner (Qhai) has told Farez the good new and offered him to be his driver for SNFR this year. They together prepared the car and lemme tell ya, boy was Farez so excited and anxious for his first SNFR. I was happy and excited for him too, though it was a very very busy early start of the year for me. So I couldn't help much. A week before the race day, they were having difficulties with the brakes and how the car behaves during hard braking. Just a few days before the race night, they managed to get it done. Alhamdulillah.

Then comes the race day. The night before I had advised my brother for some tips and useful info for him to prepare himself for the race as I had my experiences for SNFR back in 2012. As calm as he tried to be during the race day, some of my awesome friends who were competing too, tried joking around with him as they also knew he was a newbie. Less pressure for him. Thanks guys! You are awesome!!

Anyway, during practice everything runs smoothly. There were problem with the car, suspension setup by Ftuned Racing was superb, tire pressure was okay and he was good to go for his first heat. Farez started off second last on the grid. At turn 9, he started to fight for better position by going head to head wiht another car; a white Proton Satria. Unfortunately, there were many actions happened during the 1st lap on heat 1. A Proton Iswara (which I think owned by a friend of mine too) spun at turn 12, hence resulting Farez's and the white Proton Satria had to brake on their line respectively. So what happens when you suddenly engaged hard braking on a racing line...? Yeah, chances are you may go side way or some cases, you probably spun as well. That's what happened for Farez's and the white Proton Satria (on Farez right side). Tragically, another car came from turn 11 had hit on Farez's rear causing an accident. The Satria Neo had a rear damage, causing the left side rear window to break and its bumper came off. Chassis of the car were a little off as well as the impact was severe.

Luckily no one was injured. Farez only strained his neck, but alhamdulillah, nothing was broken. The other car who had hit him also had severe damage on front side of his car. Both car could not continue their races and went back as soon as the event was over.

As for now, TKSB Maxboost is trying to prepare the Satria Neo for the next round. Hopefully, its being done on time. Personally, I think it was a good experience for Farez in his first SNFR. No one is injured, yet yes, MOTORSPORTS ARE DANGEROUS. But, with good safety measures like having rollcage, wearing proper racing attires and good awareness by both drivers and organizer, major accidents can be avoided. May it be on and off track, accidents and misfortunes may happen eventually.

So guys and girls, be sure to take it on the track if you want to race so badly or perhaps you do have the hunger for speed. There are so many small events with very very affordable entrance fees. The fun part is that everyone gets to have their own category. Be it a newbie or grass root champs, friendly faces are all around for everyone. Because, before champions were made, they started off somewhere. So you can too.

More updates coming.. so, stay tuned!

This is the car owner, from TKSB Maxboost, Mr. Qhai. Looking very serious before letting Farez go for his first heat.

Ftuned Racing Suspension

Here’s a little information about Ftuned Racing Suspension. I started back on the track with my Sally in mid last year – 2013. First event I started off with her was in total stock, by means everything wasn’t modified at all. It was a gymkhana event.

For those who don’t know what gymkhana is, well basically it’s actually something similar to autocross, but its courses are often very complex. Memorizing the course is a major part of achieving a fast time as the events are timed and featuring obstacles such as cones, tires and barrels. The driver must maneuver their vehicle through a predetermined layout performing many different driving techniques such as 180 degree spins, 360 degree spins, figure 8’s and other advanced skills. It simply can be considered to be a small version of a road course.

Anyway, having everything stock on your car could be hard for any competition. I started off all stock, honestly due to tight budget for racing and to understand more of the machine and my own driving style. Therefore, after the one event I knew that I need a good suspension system. Ftuned Racing was my choice. They were quite new and I thought of giving them a try. The outcome was awesome. I managed way better timing compared to the previous suspension. And having the experience of driving my brother’s car (whom already fitted HWL suspension on his car), Ftuned Racing product and setup was way better. I am proud for using a local brand and how amazing their product is. Their service as tip top as all are friend faces and very willingly to help others with information – anything you need related to your setup or suspension faulty.

So, here are some kind info for those who are interested or simply wanting for more updates for Ftuned Racing Suspension. Happy reading everyone!

What's Up?

Hey there!

Basically this is a remake of my old blog. Yes, couple years ago I had 2 blogs where I wrote lotsa stories related to me and what’s been going on with my life and also some poetries. Now I am back with more interesting and exciting updates with/about my life.

For those who don’t know me, my name is Faye. Officially known as Faye Kusairi. Probably I can say that I am not so much of your average girl. I am a primary school teacher in a private school, an actress and I am also among the minority of Malaysian female driver.

Fundamentally, I teach speech & drama for children and I am also an actress in the Malaysian tele – dramas & film. Last but not least, I also race cars! I own one race car in which I call her ‘My Sally’ and drove/drifted other cars since I started this sport back in 2012.

So, stay tuned for more updates about my events, sponsors, promotions, latest movies/dramas and etc!

XOXO, Faye.
